Cluj Napoca is the first city in Europe regarding the positive perception of tourists, this is why it is one of the Romania's most visited cities.The reason for this is its friendly people, but also the fact there is always something to do: national and international festivals, concerts, museums, parks, not to forget about the countless cafes, restaurants and clubs.

 

Cluj 2015: European Youth Capital

 

 

 

Cluj-Napoca is the European Youth Capital in 2015, a title won

during a competition that had 49 European countries as participants.

MISSIONS AND OBJECTIVES
The program’s mission is to support youngsters and youth

organizations in their active participation in changing the society

through a sustainable, responsible and inclusive urban development

process. Through sharing space, culture, power, work, joy, faith,

vision and common European values, by approaching topics like

youth responsibility and structured dialogue during one year

program in Cluj-Napoca.

Local project: We are the Youth Generation

 

The aim of this project is to raise awareness and to promote Cluj-Napoca

as the European Youth Capital worldwide, through the trainees who will

create a documentary about the events and the people who are living in

Cluj-Napoca and then promote it through their social media accounts,

blogs, websites and festivals.


The trainees will work in 3 different groups based on their background:

- first group (10 trainees) will work on filming and video-editing

- the second group (5 trainees) on photography

- third group (5 trainees) on journalism.

 

Characteristics:

- 6 weeks: 17.07.2015 – 31.08.2015

- accommodation provided and covered

- induction and training (Teambuilding, soft&hard skills preparation, 3 Leadership

Development Seminars)

- Global Village

- Premiere event of the documentary
