Description:

The project is aiming to bring the multicultural ellement in the summer camps organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The trainers will present their culture, organize creative and sport activities, deliver sessions about cultural understanding and career development in a non-formal approach to the students who come in the summer camps. The camps are outside of the city and the intern will spend 4 weeks in the summer camps, and the first and last week of the internship in the city he has been matched to. 

The group age of students varies from middle schoolers to high-schoolers. 

 

Characteristics:

- timeline: 6 weeks (4 weeks in the camp and 2 weeks (first and last) in the city you've been matched to)

Round 1 - 22nd June - 02nd August

Round 2 - 20th July - 30th August

- accommodation provided and covered

- meals provided during the 4 weeks in camp

- induction and training (TTT and LEAD)

Description:

Summer Vitamins/Winter Vitamins is a project which aims to deliver sessions about personal development and cultural awareness to middle school students (aged 11-15) in a multicultural environment. Since there education and mindset building starts early in todays society, AIESEC is trying to fill in the gap in the formal educational system curricula by offering a project where children can learn about new cultures, improve their English skills and also learn skills that will be useful in the future.

- 7 weeks: 13th June - 3rd August

Description:

The aim of the project is to spread cultural awareness through activities during the Christmas holidays (for "Christmas around the world") and during the summer holiday (for "Experience around the world"), involving the orphans and disadvantaged children from placement centres. The international trainers will teach the youngsters English, play games, develop art related skills, in order to make them aware about tolerance and diversity. In working with the older students, the internationals will try to help them orient their careers and become self-aware of their skills and capabilities.

Description:

GROW represents a long term, non-formal educational engagement designed to improve the quality of education in Romania. It is a program organized in partnership with AIESEC that addresses high school students in Romania (age 14-18). Through the GROW program, they can follow a complementary four-year educational cycle focused on career development and cultural understanding. 

 

Characteristics:

- 8 weeks: 15th June - 6rd August

- accommodation and food provided

- 5TC Train the Trainers National Conference in Predeal, offered by the School of Values NGO

- induction and training (TTT and LEAD) 

- one travelling week for the EPs;

- organizing a Global Village
